On December 28th, 2018, Instagram user @hesosoutheast posted a video of himself as the character “Super B*tch” doing flips in the pink, high-heeled boots. The post received more than102,000 likes and 498,000 views in five days (shown below).
Spread
Over the next few days, fans of the video and @hesosoutheast began sharing the video on other platforms, adding captions and jokes. On December 29th, Twitter user @notmeraymond posted the video on Twitter, where it received more than 90,000 retweets, 272,000 likes and 7.1 million views in less than one week.
On December 30th, Twitter user @bottledfleet posted another video featuring @hesosoutheast. They captioned the post “me playing mileena in mortal kombat.” The post received more than 575 retweets,1,300 comments and 8 million views in less than one week.
