In what looks to (hopefully) be a very good story about a company thanking a memer for free positive PR, cranberry juice brand Ocean Spray has gifted Nathan Apodaca, the man who went viral last week for lipsyncing Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Dreams’ while drinking cranberry juice on a skateboard, a pickup truck full of cranberry juice.
Apodaca, known by the internet handle 420doggface208, debuted the new truck on Instagram last night.
“Dear Nathan, Good vibes only! Love, Ocean Spray,” a note on the truck reads.
The truck comes at a very opportune time for Apodaca. A self-described “happy hippie” living in Idaho, he had been living and getting around in a worn-out RV with 300,000 miles on it, causing it to be unreliable. It was for that reason that Apodaca was on his skateboard when he made the “Dreams” video.
“I just jumped on my longboard. I had my cranberry juice with me, cause that’s my drink,” Apodaca told TMZ.
The video was also a boon for Fleetwood Mac, bringing “Dreams” into the Rolling Stone Top 100 for the first time in 40 years. 73-year-old Mick Fleetwood paid tribute to his fan by recreating his TikTok.
