David and Victoria Beckham are one of the most beloved couples in the world. Their recent plans haven’t made them too popular with their neighbors, however.
David and Victoria are looking to make some major changes to their £6m Cotswolds home. Among the proposed changes are a heart-shaped pond, a swimming pool, a wine cellar, a 24-hour security gatehouse, and an underground secret tunnel.
While the changes are certainly within the couple’s financial reach, neighbors believe the changes will remove from the charm of the countryside. One neighbor has slammed the couple in an interview with The Sun. He accuses the couple of trying to “bring suburbia into the countryside” with their proposed changes.
The Beckhams purchased the home in 2017. They’ve already done quite a bit of work on it. Their neighbor, along with other members of the community, fear that additional work will take away from the charm of the area.
