Kyle Dillingham is a world-renowned fiddle player and violinist who has performed in 40 countries. He started playing the violin at nine years old. Eight years later, he was already playing shows at the Grand Ole Opry.

According to his Facebook page, “He was a featured performer for the King of Malaysia, the Princess of Thailand, Singapore’s National Day Celebration, and he was televised throughout all of China. A frequent visitor to Washington D.C, he has performed for the Japanese, Thai, Romanian, and Saudi Arabian Ambassadors, to name a few.”

But as you’re about to see, there’s one audience member Kyle just cannot impress.

He recently paid a trip to the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden with a plan to play music for the beautiful big cats who reside in the lion enclosure.

Kyle, clearly a confident and outgoing entertainer, feverishly played his violin while running back and forth across the exhibit, which quickly caught the attention of one lioness in particular.

Let’s just say the female lion expressed her opinions about Kyle’s performance with just an inch or two of glass between them. Meanwhile, the zoo-goers just giggled and took videos.

“It is true that music can sooth the savage beast… but perhaps not until after a dance!” Kyle says.
