It follows Ash, Pikachu, and friends as they work together to try and thwart Team Rocket..as usual. But there’s something different about this story. Team Rocket is hard at work trying to make the world’s first synthetic Pokémon, which results in the terrifying Mewtwo. Mewtwo has a swath of scary abilities, and Ash and company have to work together to defeat Mewtwo, who’s become sentient. It’s quite a ride, especially for younger Pokémon fans.
