In 2019, it’s easy to be incredibly jaded about love and romance. But then you come across a freakin’ adorable real-life love story like this one, and you have hope all over again.
Twitter user @VirgoVonnie posted a screenshot of a major text that he got from his mom one evening.
“I just kissed [your] dad,” she wrote.
Except that Vonnie’s parents have been divorced for seven years. That explains his response, which was “What the h*ll ??????”
However, his mom’s reply was just the cutest thing ever.
“It was goooooooood and he smelled mesmerizing,” she wrote. “I think I might just go get my man back.”
The tweet about his divorced parents gained a lot of attention. Soon, literal thousands of people were cheering Vonnie’s mom on through Twitter.
“Get ya man moms!!” one wrote.
“Ok so now you have to give us updates,” another said. “Let us know when they get back together.”
According to Vonnie’s last update, his parents were “texting.” Aww!
