At the 2019 Oscars, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper sang a duet together that got seriously steamy. Uncomfortably steamy, according to some fans, considering that Bradley has a long-term girlfriend (who is not Gaga).
Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper are co-stars and faux lovers in A Star Is Born. Their connection continued long past the end of filming, though. On stage at the Oscars, they performed “Shallow,” the Oscar-winning track from the movie. Bradley put his arm around Gaga and the pair got about thisclose to kissing. You could practically see the fireworks flying.
Meanwhile, Bradley’s girlfriend Irina Shayk was sitting front row in the audience. Bradley and Irina have been together since early 2015. They also share a one-year-old daughter. Irina seems to be friendly with Gaga, but… Isn’t it awkward to watch your man stare deeply into another woman’s eyes?
To make things worse, Irina and Bradley appeared in a photo together on Tuesday looking “rather glum,” per Daily Mail.
Even other celebrities felt the need to weigh in. Mel B called out Gaga and Bradley, saying that she felt “uncomfortable” for Irina. David Spade joked on Instagram, “Is there any chance these 2 aren’t f***ing?” Other fans, though, are dying to see these two as a couple already, home-wrecking aside.
Today, Gaga finally chimed in with her own take on the undeniably romantic Oscars duet she shared with Bradley. See what she has to say about the situation in the video below!
