There was a lot to celebrate in the Cambridge household this weekend! Sunday was all about Prince William. Not only was it Father’s Day, but it was also William’s 38th birthday.
The royal family loves to release new photos around birthdays, so fans were eager to see what they’d get. They weren’t disappointed. New photos of William and his three kids brought smiles to many faces. It also shows how quickly the Cambridge kiddos are growing up. Prince George will celebrate his 7th birthday next month. Princess Charlotte turned five last month. Prince Louis turned two in late April.
In one of the photos, taken by Kate, William sits on a swing with Louis in his lap. Charlotte stands next to him on the seat, while George seems to have climbed up the back. The family is all smiles in the photo.
In another photo, the kids all pile on top of dad on the grass. Since the photos were said to be taken earlier this month, they’re likely from Anmer Hall, where the family has self-isolated since March.
The royals also honored Father’s Day with photos. One was of William and Prince Charles from Christmas. The chummy photo is unlike anything we’ve ever seen from the father and son before. It shows off their softer side. There was also a photo of Kate with her dad, Michael Middleton, from her childhood.
