Prince William and Kate Middleton have a beautiful family. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are proud parents to 6-year-old Prince George, 4-year-old Princess Charlotte, 1-year-old Prince Louis. In the last year, many have wondered if William and Kate, both 38 this year, might add to their family. Some believed they would follow in Queen Elizabeth’s footsteps and have a fourth child.
It wasn’t just mere speculation. The betting kind were willing to put money on it. Not only was their rampant speculation that there would be one new royal baby this year, but four. Bookmakers believed that Kate, Meghan Markle, Princess Eugenie, and Princess Beatrice might all announce pregnancies this year. The odds for Kate to announce baby number four in 2020 were 2/1, according to Alex Apati of Ladbrokes.
Kate revealed that won’t be the case. During a recent royal outing where Kate was chatting with members of the public, she revealed that William does not want to have more children.
