Judge Judy has graced our televisions for the past two decades — and so has her signature short bob with blonde highlights.
At 76 years old, Judy is just as sharp, practical and matter-of-fact as she’s always been. That part is the same. But these days, there is something different about her.
For the first time in 22 years, Judge Judy entered her courtroom during a taping of her show with a brand new hairdo. Her fans are now freaking out over the unexpected style.
Viewers were totally surprised when everyone’s favorite judge appeared on TV sporting a ponytail!
The look is being compared to that of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Everyone wanted to know what Judy’s longtime sidekick, Byrd the bailiff, thought of her new look. “I tried to stay out of this, y’all won’t let me!” he said. “I prefer my boss with the old ‘do’ more sophisticated and ‘judy’cial.”
According to Wikipedia, “‘Judge Judy’ has won three Emmy awards and has had the highest ratings in courtroom programming in the United States. The program debuted in 1996 and its 23rd season commenced in September 2018. In March 2015, Sheindlin and CBS Television Distribution extended their contract through the program’s 25th season.”
