Jessica Simpson is in her third trimester and sure it looks like she’s nesting! The star celebrated her baby shower with friends and family recently. All of Jessica’s loved ones were in attendance, including her mom, Tina Simpson, and one of her best friends, CaCee Cobb. The chic get together was a sweet way to prepare for Jessica’s third child — a little girl due this spring. Jessica first announced her pregnancy to fans with a gender reveal on Instagram last September.
As Jessica’s due date draws closer, it seems that she and former NFL tight end hubby Eric Johnson have settled on a name for the newest member of the family. All signs are pointing to the name Birdie, although it’s unclear if that will be the full name or a nickname. There was even a neon light sign at the baby shower that read “Birdie’s Nest.” The soon-to-be family of five are no strangers to unique names. Birdie will join siblings Maxwell Drew, 6, and Ace Knute, 5.
