Jeff Bridges and his wife Susan have been happily married for 43 years. The pair met back in 1973 in Paradise Valley, Montana, while Jeff was filming Rancho Deluxe.
After two years of dating, they married and had three daughters together. They also share two grandchildren, who are 9 and 5.
Jeff recently opened up about the sweet secret that makes his marriage work. It turns out that he and Susan are pretty different, but they see their differences as a strength. “We are quite different as people, and we celebrate that rather than making it drive us apart. I respect her wisdom, and I’m sure the girls do too.”
Jeff and his daughter Isabelle recently worked on a children’s book together, and the pair have been making the rounds as they speak about Daddy Daughter Day and what the book means to each of them. Jeff has also shared that being able to spend so much of his life with the people he loves the most has been the best part of his nearly 50-year-long career.
