In 1999, Tony Martin was living alone in his old farmhouse situated in Norfolk, UK. His life changed in an instant when two male strangers — a 16-year-old and 29-year-old — tried breaking in. Tony shot and killed the teenager and wounded the older man, claiming he was acting in self-defense and protecting his property.

Initially, Tony was imprisoned for life. But when his story made national headlines, the public grew so outraged by the sentence that the judge eventually reduced the charges to five years for manslaughter.

Tony was released from prison in 2003, but he left his farmhouse abandoned. He now reportedly lives at an undisclosed address with friends and has not stepped foot in his old home since.

In June 2018, a popular YouTube vlogger known as Abandoned World Explorer UK noticed the farmhouse while on vacation and decided to explore the grounds. At the time, he says he didn’t realize it was the notorious home of the “Burglar Killer” of 1999. He now says he believes it to be the infamous house.

Pushing past the overgrown shrubbery, the explorer made it inside and found unidentified bones strewn across the downstairs bathroom. He ventured upstairs and found another room — the contents of which made the house “seem like it was something out of ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre.’”

“I don’t think I will be going back, I felt so intimidated and scared whist we were there,” he says.

Watch the video to see the mysterious, unexplained, and bone-chilling discoveries made by this brave explorer.
