Enter, OWN.
OWN, or Oprah Winfrey Network, is known primarily for its programming aimed at African American audiences. Dramas like Greenleaf, Queen Sugar, Cherish the Day, and David Makes Man are some of the best deep cable cuts you’re not watching yet. There are also reruns of classic African American led sitcoms like 227 and Benson. And because its the Oprah network, there are plenty of talk shows including Dr. Phil, The Dr. Oz Show, Ellen, and even Rachael Ray.

What is OWN?
The channel traces its origins back to 2007. Discovery Health’s waning ratings inspired Discovery Inc. CEO David Zaslav to rebrand the channel. His wife, an avid fan of Oprah Winfrey, believed a channel echoing Oprah’s trusted brand would be a great basis for a new network. Oprah helped launch the network in 2011, the same year her show ended its 25 year run.

Vidgo offers a package for under $40 a month that pulls together more than 60 English-language channels into its National English Package. But it’s like Fubo in that, even though it started out for streaming sports, it carries a lot more now.
