On April 4, 2019, Hilaria Baldwin took to Instagram to tell her fans and followers that she was pregnant with her fifth child. Unfortunately, she admitted that she was “most likely experiencing a miscarriage.”
The 35-year-old, who is married to Alec Baldwin, has four children. She and Alex wanted to have another child, but this pregnancy wasn’t viable. Hilaria shared the heartbreaking news in order to “normalize miscarriage and remove the stigma from it.”
A few days after Hilaria told her followers that she was probably having a miscarriage, she took to Instagram once again to share an update. She wrote:
“There was no heartbeat today at my scan…so it’s over…but I have some pretty strong and amazing heartbeats right here. I am surrounded by such love and I feel so fortunate. Thank you all for listening, for your support, and for sharing your own personal stories. We are stronger together…I hope this conversation continues to grow and that we stick together through both the beautiful and challenging moments in life. Much love and appreciation to all of you.”
Many of her followers commented on her miscarriage admission, thanking her for her openness and honesty.
