Joseph James DeAngelo Jr., a.k.a the Golden State Killer, recently pleaded guilty to nearly 50 rapes and 13 murders.
Back in 1973, James Huddle’s sister Sharon married DeAngelo and went on to have three daughters with him. At the time, Sharon’s entire family was won over by the good-looking, hardworking police officer.
James remained the killer’s brother-in-law for 40 years. They rode motorcycles together. They watched movies together.
All the while, James and his family had no clue that DeAngelo was actually a monster living a secret life of violence and sheer brutality.
