Felicity Huffman’s former co-star from Desperate Housewives has dismissed her 14-day prison sentence. Ricardo Chavira, who played Carlos Soils on the ABC series alongside Huffman’s Lynette Scavo, tweeted “White Privilege. And I saw Eight years worth of it, so I know what I’m talking about. Accountability and Responsibility don’t mean [expletive] to these people.”

Chavira went on to say that he experienced both bias while working on the show.

“I saw eight years worth of it working on Housewives. I’ve seen a lifetime of it being a halfbreed, and I’ve struggled with the intricacies of it on a daily basis with all the cultural bias I’ve received on both ends. But whatever. Slap on the wrist. Sorry, but this [expletive].”

For her part, Eva Longoria, whose character Gabrielle was married to Carlos, was one of Huffman’s friends who wrote a letter to the judge asking for an easier sentence for the actress.

Felicity Huffman plead guilty to the charges against her in the on-going college admissions scandal and received a sentence of 14 days in prison, a $30,000 fine, and 250 hours of community service. The actress is supposed to report to prison on October 25.

The sentence was said to have rattled Lori Loughlin, who played a more serious role in the scandal and could be facing a much lengthier time in federal prison.
