In 2010, Marina Terracciano and her family moved into their “historic” Florida home, built in 1925.
Recently, the family discovered entrances under the home leading to deep, dark, and winding tunnels.
Marina’s neighbor once said he actually tried walking through one of these sprawling tunnels, which was apparently built underneath the Hillsborough River — but 20 minutes into his journey, he got too scared and turned back.
Another tunnel reportedly leads to Ybor City in Tampa — the openings of which also act as bookends to some mysterious rooms located beneath Marina’s home.
“There’s a multi-level concrete structure that looks like bleachers surrounding a circular space,” Fox13 reports.
Some historians say the tunnels under Ybor were created to assist with drainage, but others believe they were eventually used for darker and more nefarious purposes…
