Aiden Yielding of Fort Worth, Texas is a 14-year-old boy who has been fighting Leukemia since the beginning of 2020.
Because of the pandemic, parents Lori and Chuck were heartbroken to learn that only one of them could accompany Aiden to his chemotherapy treatments.
Since Lori works at the same hospital, it made more sense for her to be the one there with Aiden through his rigorous treatments.
But nothing was going to stop Chuck from being there, too. He wanted to find a way to show his son his support, while also giving him something to smile about.
Watch the video below to see Chuck’s weekly tradition, which takes place every Tuesday under the window of whichever hospital room Aiden is in.
All the teen has to do is look down, and there’s his doting dad on the grass or in the parking lot — giving him the performances of a lifetime.
