The world is filled with all kinds of people — that’s what makes it so beautiful. But, it’s the people who’ve learned how to do a lot despite living at a disadvantage that’ll really put you in awe.

Norfarrah Syahirah Shaari is a 32-year-old woman who was born without arms. That means that her whole life has been built around adaptation. She has refused to let her disability define her. Instead, she’s proving to the world how capable she is by sewing masks for others using her feet. And the masks look amazing.

Located in Selangor, Malaysia, she’s making the masks so that hospital staff have all of the PPE they need. As you know, there’ve been shortages all around the world, which put our doctors and nurses in jeopardy. It’s tough to go into work knowing you might come out of your shift feeling ill. With people like Norfarrah helping out, their jobs are a little easier.

Norfarrah is one of the many volunteers working for the Teluk Intan Community College’s program. She’s working to make masks with 34 others. But, she developed her skills with a sewing machine much earlier.

“I have learned how to use the sewing machine around eight years ago as I need customized clothes for my body,” she said, according to Newsflare. “It was hard at first but after a lot of hard work and patience I finally could use it swiftly.” Every day, she’s proving that as a disabled woman, she’s still able to help fight this fight.

Watch the video of Norfarrah at work. It’ll remind you that everyone can help make a difference.
