Deputy Robert Pounds has worked in law enforcement for 30 years and in all that time he figured he’d seen just about every type of crazy situation… until the clip you’re about to see.
It was around 4 a.m. when Deputy Pounds pulled over a speeding car in Florida. The driver, who had a completely clean record before this early morning, was going nearly 20 miles over the limit.
Jean-Louis Wilfrid was quick to admit he’d been driving way too fast. “Officer, you have the right to stop me, I’m not gonna even lie,” he told him.
As the driver spoke, the deputy could hear the woman seated beside him in the passenger seat screaming bloody-murder.
Then Jean-Louis revealed the reason for the high-speed trip down the highway. “We have a baby coming out,” he said. “That’s the reason why I’m speeding.”
At first, Deputy Pounds thought the driver was lying to him to get out of a ticket. But as he took a closer look, he saw a baby’s head crowning between the legs of Jean-Louis’ wife.
In that moment, the deputy — who has three kids of his own — realized this traffic stop was unlike any he’d experienced before.
