Earlier this year, Carrie Underwood released her sixth album, Cry Pretty. The album came out after Carrie went through a rough few months — first dealing with some serious injuries after a fall, then coping with multiple miscarriages.

Cry Pretty was Carrie’s way of telling the world she was back, and the album debuted at No. 1 in over 20 countries. Cry Pretty was a huge hit among fans, and everyone was excited to see how it would perform at the Grammy Awards.

That’s why it was absolutely shocking to see the list of Grammy nominations and find out that Carrie’s album wasn’t on there at all.

Not only was the album missing from some of the major categories, like Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year, it was also missing from the country categories! Carrie didn’t receive nominations for Best Country Solo Performance, Best Country Song, or Best Album.

When fans found out Carrie was snubbed, they took to Twitter to express their outrage.

One woman wrote, “No offense but my good sis Carrie Underwood was robbed of her well deserved Grammy noms.”

Another person said, “This Grammy snub hurts more than any prior CMA or ACM snub. It’s her best album ever and to completely snub her is a huge slap in the face. It’s sickening.”

“After being the top selling female album of 2018, to claiming her fourth #1 album, to having the biggest first week for an album by a female artist this year, Carrie Underwood was STILL robbed from her well deserved Grammy nominations. I am livid right now,” a third fan wrote.

Do you think Carrie deserved to be nominated for some Grammy Awards this year?
