Julio Cesar Mora Tapia is 110 years old. His wife, Waldramina Maclovia Quinteros Reyes, is 104 years old.
The Ecuadorian couple, both retired teachers, have lived a combined total of 215 years.
Back when Julio and Waldramina first met, both of their families disapproved of their budding relationship. They knew each other for seven years before they finally tied the knot on February 7, 1941.
Despite the odds stacked against their love story, Julio and Waldramina pushed through together — and now they’ve broken a Guinness World Record.
They’ve just officially been named the world’s oldest married couple with the “highest combined age of a married couple” on the planet!
Julio and Waldramina have five children, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
