Blake Shelton is taking a big step by acknowledging that marriage is the logical next step with Gwen Stefani. The two stars have been together for four years, after first connecting on The Voice. The couple has always played coy with discussions about their future. Now, Blake is acknowledging that he hears the rumors and he gets it, but he also has to laugh.
Blake recently sat down for a chat with Entertainment Tonight‘s Nancy O’Dell at the Backlot BBQ. During the event, Blake shut down the latest rumors that he and Gwen would be walking down the aisle. He joked about the never ending rumor mill, saying “First of all, the rumors stuff, I’m not gonna sit here and say that it makes me mad. It’s funny. I’ve learned over the years just to take that for what it is.”
He assured Nancy that he and Gwen take the public interest in their relationship as a compliment.
