In March 2002, Angelina Jolie adopted her first child, Maddox. He was just seven months old when Angelina first met him in a Cambodian orphanage.
The famed actress and staunch activist went on to adopt two more children: Pax, 15, and Zahara, 14. She and Brad Pitt also have three biological children: Shiloh, 13, and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
As Maddox is now 18 years old, Angelina recently experienced one of the most bittersweet and emotional milestones for any proud mother: dropping her kid off at college.
A brand new Instagram video shows the 44-year-old superstar sharing a sweet chat with a group of students at Yonsei University in South Korea before seeing Maddox off.
“I leave today; today is the day I drop him off,” Angelina told the students. “I’m trying not to cry.”
Maddox was reportedly accepted into several universities but ultimately chose to attend the elite Yonsei to pursue his studies in biochemistry.
