We recently reported that Broadway star Nick Cordero has passed away following a 91-day battle against the coronavirus at age 41.
Nick is survived by his wife Amanda Kloots and their one-year-old son Elvis.
Amanda wrote an emotional post on Instagram confirming the news: “God has another angel in heaven now. My darling husband passed away this morning. He was surrounded in love by his family, singing and praying as he gently left this earth. I am in disbelief and hurting everywhere. My heart is broken as I cannot imagine our lives without him.”
Every day since Nick was hospitalized, Amanda continued her daily tradition of performing his original song, “Live Your Life,” on Instagram live.
Now, Amanda has returned to Instagram to sing his song for the final time, showing gratitude to all of their supporters.
“We played this song a lot yesterday in Nick’s room with him and we were singing to him and I kept telling him that he had the whole world singing his song and knowing who he was and what kind of an amazing person he was. I just wanted him to know that his dream of becoming a rock star happened.”
