The new dad first revealed that he spent time in jail on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. “Roughly 10 years ago I was accused of burning my own property. And I was incarcerated pending trial for 18 months until I took a plea agreement and got on probation,” he explained.

According to Starcasm, Paul committed second degree arson in 2007, but wasn’t convicted of burning personal property to defraud an insurer until 2014. The site states that his supervised probation stemming from the case officially ends in April 2020.

Paul was also charged with violating a Kentucky emergency protective order in 2013, which had been filed by an ex-girlfriend. Reports indicate that he “unlawfully sent text messages” to the woman. Paul addressed the arrest on Before the 90 Days.
