Move over, Amazon. The online retailer has serious competition in Walmart’s Big Save.
Walmart is bringing its A-game to the preholiday sales space. The event kicks off on Sunday, October 11, at 7 p.m. ET and runs through October 15. That means it will share part of its run with Amazon Prime Day and Target Deal Days, scheduled for October 13 and 14.
The event is promising huge savings across home, beauty, fashion, electronics, and more. Shoppers can enjoy free two-day shipping. Select items will also be available for next-day delivery or in-store pickup.
Walmart’s Big Save is likely a test run for many of the services it’ll be offering this holiday season. The big-box store recently announced changes ahead of Black Friday, both in-store and online, to make for a safer shopping experience.
The retailer also recently launched Walmart+. The subscription service features same- and next-day delivery along with in-store discounts online.
