The first flag: It is the flag of Kaya Alp, the father of Suleiman Shah and the grandfather of Ertuğrul Ghazi (the year the flag was made was not known).
The second flag: It is the flag of Orhan Ghazi bin Othman Ghazi, and it became the flag of the state in the year 1326.
The third flag: It is the flag of Sultan Murad I and became the flag of the state in 1383.
The fourth flag: It is the flag of Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror. It became the flag of the state in 1453.
The fifth flag: It is the flag of Sultan Selim I. It became the flag of the state in 1517.
