Folks Films is a group of Canadian filmmakers that took on a unique project and did one heck of a job.
The challenge was to remake your favorite film in one minute or less and the group chose to remake the 1979 Sci-Fi classic Alien, directed by Ridley Scott.
The contest in Canada was called the “10k One Minute Movie” and the grand prize was $10,000.
The one-minute version of Alien, however, did not take the big prize. That went to a retelling of The Hangover that you can watch by clicking HERE.
