9 Reasons the Royal Family Is Actually Not as Strict as You Think

There’s been a lot written about the royals’ many uptight “rules” and the archaic decorum everyone in the family abides, but the House of Windsor has been changing a lot over the years. Although there are still old customs they must uphold (they are royals after all), the family has been evolving, becoming more modern and less isolated. Sure, they might hold the image of a bunch of “stiff upper crusts,” they’re actually a lot more normal than you think — well, normal for royals anyway. Below, are a few reasons.

They favor gag gifts over elaborate presents.

They have a sense of humor.

None of them actually wants to be king or queen.

They do their own shopping.

The Queen’s more open-minded than you think.

Prince Harry is the most casual one of them all.

Prince William isn’t far behind either.

Also, what’s so traditional about a palace covered in dog pee stains?

They’re gradually getting rid of old, sexist rules.

9 People Who Celebrated Their Divorces in Spectacular Ways

Ending a bad relationship is one of the most trying times in one’s life, especially if you’re married. There’s a certain amount of humiliation, embarrassment, and sadness that comes with splitting up, especially when you were dedicated to spending the rest of your life together.

It’s easy to feel sorry for yourself, and the risk of depression is very, very real. But some people fight their depression tooth and nail by lightening things up after a trying divorce.

Check out the creative, funny, and downright silly ways these people worked past their post-divorce blues.

Blowing up the wedding dress

43-year-old Kimberly Santleben-Stitler was married for 14 years before she and her now ex-husband called it quits. And like a True Texan who believes in going big or going home, Kimberly decided to blow up her wedding dress in a spectacular fashion.

She received some help from her father and brother-in-law in crafting the explosive finale to her divorcee party. She donned a T-Shirt that read, “Y’all I’m single AF.” In an interview with the Centre Daily Times, she said that she went through such great lengths to destroy the dress because, “it represented a lie.”

How she blew it up was pretty insane, too: she shot at the dress with a rifle rigged with 20 pounds of explosives. The subsequent blast was heard by people at least 15 miles away.

Kimberly’s hilarious, overly-Texan reaction to her divorce is getting both cheers and jeers from people on social media.

The critics don’t seem to faze Kimberly too much. She seems to be enjoying the high life. She even set a photo of the act as her Facebook profile picture.

Although she opted to go for a huge gesture in celebrating her life after divorce, she doesn’t recommend others do the same, unless they’re well-versed in the art of pyrotechnics:

“I would only recommend it for people that know how to use this stuff,” she said in an interview with Circa.

Not letting the dress go to waste

When Kevin Cotter’s wife left him, he decided to cope with the sudden dissolution of his marriage by coming up with some really creative ways to use her dress: all of which he chronicled on his blog and in his book, 101 Uses for My Ex-Wife’s Wedding Dress.

To say that he got silly with it would be an understatement: Kevin really stretches the possibilities of what an old wedding dress could be used for and the results are absolutely hilarious. From donning it as hunting apparel to washing his car, he’s really thought of everything.

He even fashioned it into a sumo wrestling mawashi.

Divorce selfies

There are some pretty terrible moments and situations to take selfies. For example, this dude who gave a thumbs up and snapped a photo in the middle of divorce proceedings at what looks like a lawyer or legal mediator’s office. The expression on his ex-wife’s face is one of the most perfect things ever captured on the internet.

This couple below though seemed a lot happier in their photo, though.

Throwing divorce parties, with cake

Sure, everyone’s heard of throwing a huge celebration for a couple when they tie the knot, but what about celebrating the fact that you ended a bad relationship?

There’s a silver lining in everything I guess. I gotta hand it to these divorce parties though, because they look absolutely LIT, as the cool kids say.

9 Scenes That Prove Ross Was Definitely the Funniest 'Friend'

Happy birthday, David Schwimmer! Though he’s been acting since the late ’80s and has made memorable appearances since on shows like The Wonder Years, Will and Grace, and even American Crime Story, David’s undoubtedly best remembered for his portrayal of nerdy paleontologist Ross Gellar in NBC’s hit show, Friends.

And even though many fans were obsessed with characters like Rachel, Monica and Chandler, Ross is unfortunately often overlooked — despite the fact that he’s the absolutely funniest. Sure, Chandler had his fair share of knee-slapping one liners and Phoebe had her own brand of quirky humor, but Ross’ best scenes stand up all these years later.

To celebrate David Schwimmer’s 52nd birthday, let’s take a look at all the time Ross Gellar was objectively the most hilarious friend.

1. He owned a pet monkey.

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t still have a stuffed monkey named Marcel, 24 years after Friends came out. When Ross’s friend rescued Marcel from a lab, Friends fans welcomed the addition to the cast.

Despite Google not being a thing back then, Ross was able to take great care of his monkey, who proves to be just as goofy as him. For one, his favorite song is “The Lion Sleeps Tonight,” and he knows exactly how to go about making sure it’s always playing.

He also trolls the Friends constantly by ingeniously changing their TV to Spanish.

2. He was stunningly fashion-forward.

It’s a New Year’s resolution we’re all familiar with — trying new things. When Ross tries to jump aboard the resolution train and try a new thing every day, he got himself into a pretty sticky situation.

Ross ends up wearing leather pants to a first date and his sartorial choice goes totally wrong when his nerves get the best of him and he ends up a sweaty mess. Cue Ross calling Joey for advice on removing them from the bathroom, where he’s hiding: “Joey, I need some help … the lotion and the powder have made a paste.”

Never a good idea to call Joey for advice.

3. He was a great parent.

As a father, no other Friends character was more hands-on. There was the time Ross tried to teach his son Ben about his Jewish heritage by dressing up and delivering presents as the “Holiday Armadillo.”

And who could forget the time he discovered baby Emma’s favorite song was Sir Mix-A-Lot’s “Baby Got Back” and proceeded to sing it during the entirety of an episode to put her to sleep.

4. Even when he wasn’t.

For all the times he shone as an exceptional father, Ross had his fair share of parental mishaps as well. Like the time he created a fake Ben out of his clothing and a jack-o-lantern in order to pretend he was too busy to help Rachel pack and move out of Monica’s apartment.

5. He was a really supportive friend.

Sure, he often wanted to try his paleontology lectures on his buddies, but who could blame him? No one minded when Joey broke into his Drake Ramore voice.

When you look past his nerdiness, he’s actually a really generous friend. He bought back a $200 dog statue for Joey, even though it was objectively ugly. And remember the time he bought Phoebe a bike and patiently taught her how to ride it? He even tried to get on her level:

Ross: This bike wants to be ridden, and if you don’t ride it, you’re killing its spirit! The bike is dying!

Phoebe: All right. If you care enough to make up that load of crap, OK.

Ross: Great! You’re making the bike very happy.

Phoebe: (sarcastically) Okay Ross! *whispers to the bike* Please don’t die!

6. He was an expert flirt.

If you ever want to seal the deal without being too crass or forthright, may we suggest this very successful fake anecdote Joey tells Ross to use on a date?

You might be very familiar with how it starts: “I was just outside of Barcelona, hiking in the foothills of Mount Tibidabo and I came to this clearing and there was this lake, very secluded, tall trees all around. It was dead silent. Gorgeous. Across the lake, I saw this beautiful girl just washing herself. But she was crying…”

7. He mastered accents.

When Ross got appointed to be a professor at NYU, he tried out his first lecture on the Friends, who made him nervous and self-conscious because they found it so boring.

Eager to impress the students on his first day, he suddenly decided to lecture in a painfully fake British accent, which Monica and Rachel walk in on him performing. The two manage to convince Ross to slowly phase the accent out, which only causes more questions to arise among his students.

8. He tried to teach Rachel and Phoebe self-defense.

Unagi, anyone? After Rachel and Phoebe took a self-defense class, Ross decided it would be in their best interest to test their skills. After all, he had an extensive background in “kara-tay.”

Being the nerd that he is, Ross tried to impart the wisdom of “unagi,” which according to him, is a “total state of awareness.” Of course, the girls made fun of him, leading Ross to trying to scare them — which ends up in Rachel and Phoebe pinning him to the floor, yelling at him to “say we are unagi!”

9. He stood out as a musician.

Of all his many talents, his musical abilities are definitely the most shocking — even to his friends, from whom he kept his skills a secret.

So when Ross shared with the group that he was once very passionate about playing the keyboard, they insisted on hearing his musical renditions. Who knew Ross Gellar was such an avant-garde artist? Before playing his “wordless sound poem,” he disclosed it was about “communicating very private emotions.”

Phoebe was obviously his biggest fan, and convinced him to even showcase his talents at Central Perk.

Happy birthday, David Schwimmer! Here’s to another 52 years of laughing at Ross.

9 Celebs Who Tried to Scrub Embarrassing Moments From the Internet

Nothing dies on the internet, but that still doesn’t stop celebs from thinking they can hide their cringeworthy moments from the public. Unfortunately, whenever famous people try to do this, they inadvertently attract even more attention to the thing they were trying to hide. Psychologists even gave it a name: the Streisand Effect. The term is named after Barbara Streisand and her unsuccessful efforts in suppressing photos of her mansion. In the end, her need for censorship simply inspired more people to look up pictures of her house, which are available on the internet because, duh, it’s the internet! You can’t fight it, celebs.

Below, a few more examples of famous folks who tried (and failed) at hiding embarrassing blunders.

9 Reasons People Still Hate Angelina Jolie (and Why They Should Reconsider)

Angelina Jolie is struggling to win the people’s support. After filing for divorce from Brad Pitt in 2016, both Hollywood and the public have been distancing themselves from her, disagreeing with how she’s behaved during the ongoing custody battle. Now with everyone firmly on #TeamBrad, her most ardent haters are relishing in the schadenfreude as they echo “I told you so”s and repeat decades-old rumors about Angie’s “calculated” behavior.

But maybe everyone needs to take a step back a bit. Although Hollywood has their reasons for hating Angelina (and there are a lot), there are two sides to every story. Dig a little deeper and you’ll realize that there are no villains or heroes, and maybe we all should be a little less quick to judge. Below, the most common reasons people hate Angelina and a few reasons for why they should reconsider that.

She was called a “minimally talented spoiled brat” by a producer.

She tried to smear Brad’s name in their ongoing divorce and custody dispute.

She “stole” Brad from Jennifer Aniston.

She “stole” Billy Bob Thornton from Laura Dern.

She had a wild past.

She doesn’t have any famous friends.

She manipulates the press.

Her “saint” image is a facade.

Her movies are box-office bombs.

Born On Sept. 9? You Have Plenty of Company, Since It’s the Most Common Birthday in the U.S.

September 9 is a pretty good day to be born. The ninth day of the ninth month makes for some nice symmetry when you’re filling out forms — and you happen to share a birthday with Adam Sandler, Michelle Williams (the actress, not the former Destiny’s Child member), Colonel Sanders (yes, he was real and yes, he was born on Sept. 9), three people I’m Facebook friends with — and millions of other people that help make it the most common birthday in the United States, according to recent research.

The Daily Viz took data (collected by FiveThirtyEight) for births between 1994 and 2004 and found that — on average — there were 12,301 births on Sept. 9 on every year, making it the most common day to be born in the states. It was closely followed by Sept. 19, which is a great day to be born, if I can speak from my nearly 27 years of experience of having a Sept. 19 birthday.

And, my fellow September babies, it turns out there are a lot of us. Of the top 10 most common birthdays, nine of them happen to be in September — with all of them falling between Sept. 9 and Sept. 20. According to the New York Times, in the United States from 1973 to 1999, Sept. 16 took home the top spot, and Sept. 30 has the high honor in New Zealand, apparently.

So what exactly is happening here?

This is the part where you may want to put on your ear muffs; it turns out that the reason we September babies are so plentiful is because that stretch of birthdays — the nine days that took up the majority of the top 10 list — comes exactly nine months after Christmas/New Year’s. And y’know, it sort of makes sense; it’s cold, people are celebrating, they’re often times on vacation or back home for the holidays. What else are you supposed to do but make (September) babies?!

Birthdays are something that we traditionally think of as being ours and ours alone — a day when we make our friends do what we want, indulge in things we wouldn’t normally do, and wear a plastic tiara all day (what, is that just me?!). But at the same time, there’s something pretty cool about knowing you get to celebrate with more people than literally any other day. Plus no one is ever going to forget your birthday, since there’s a high chance they know someone else born on that day (don’t even get me started on the craziness that is the Birthday Paradox…)!

And isn’t that, like, the best present you can get?! Happy (early) birthday, Sept. 9 babies!

9 Life Hacks That'll Save Your Life During Awkward Social Gatherings

These life hacks, backed by science and psychology, will make those awkward social situations a little less nerve-wracking.

As much as modern society would love to further withdraw into their homes while living entirely on the internet, you can’t avoid civilization entirely. Eventually you’re going to have to get out of bed and come to your friend’s engagement party or that networking event or that happy hour work function. But if you’re the type of person who gets nervous when meeting new people, there are plenty of life hacks you can use to help make the situation a little less awkward.

The key of conquering any social interaction is to get the person you’re speaking to to like you, and if you think getting strangers to care about your hobbies sounds hard, it’s really not. With just a few tips, backed by science, you can master any social situation.

Here are nine tips how:

Don’t try to calm yourself down.

For most people, attending a work function or networking event where you don’t know anyone is nerve-wracking. After all, you have to make the perfect first impression, try to schmooze with all the right people, and do it all while having mind-numbing conversations about the weather. If you’re feeling nervous or anxious, you might try to control your nerves by telling yourself to be calm, but that’s actually the wrong method to be using.

According to research by Allison Wood Brooks of Harvard Business School, you should be getting pumped instead. According to her study, when people were told to get excited before doing a nerve-wracking task, they performed better than people who were told to calm themselves down.

Give yourself a “job” to do.

If you’re one of those people who hates small talk and finds it super hard to do, instead of awkwardly talking about the weather, try giving yourself a “job.” According to psychologist Anita Sanz, if you replace your fear with a purpose, you’re less likely to focus on any nerves or anxiety you might be feeling. So, for example, if you assign yourself the job of “making sure everyone has a good time at the party,” you can take the focus and attention off yourself and prioritize making others feel “comfortable.”

“I don’t focus on how others are perceiving me or evaluating me when I am trying to accomplish something important or meaningful,” she wrote for Forbes. “I have a purpose or a mission, so my anxiety becomes very secondary.”

Get someone to do you a favor.

It seems like bad advice at first. After all, shouldn’t you be the one doing the favor if you want to be well-liked? But surprisingly, people are more likely to trust and like you if they do a favor for you first. It’s called the Benjamin Franklin Effect, named after its inventor, and proposes that people who are asked to do a favor not only like the person who asked the favor more, but also are more willing to do them more favors. The reason is a cognitive dissonance where people rationalize that they must like a person if they’re willing to do favors for them. People are also more likely to like a person if they feel like they invested time and energy into them. Manipulative, huh?

Disarm rude people with kindness.

So you went to the party, conquered your nerves, made others feel comfortable, and even found an errand boy to do your bidding. But not everyone’s going to like you, and there’ll always be haters. If you ever encounter one who’s being rude to you, a good life hack tip is to respond with politeness instead of anger. Rudeness against rudeness creates a ricochet effect that can quickly snowball out of control.

“I rarely escalate conflicts with rude people,” Christopher Bergland wrote for Psychology Today. “Ninety-nine percent of the time, it’s more effective to disarm rude people with politeness. Over the years, I’ve found that deflecting rudeness with genuine, Kevlar-coated kindness is the best defense.”

Cover your dark circles.

It might sound completely unrelated to meeting people, but dark circles can hinder your relationship with others, especially if you’re attending a mixer event in the hopes of meeting Mr. or Ms. Right. According to this slightly dubious infographic, dark circles reduce your attractiveness by 40 percent. However, a more reputable study has somewhat corroborated this statistic.

According to the study, people were more likely to be attracted to and like people who looked well-rested. On the flip side, they found sleep-deprived people look “sadder,” less attractive, and less healthy. Ouch. If you have genetic dark circles, you might need to reach for the concealer.

Strike an expansive pose.

If you fold your arms a lot or hunch your back, you might be accidentally sending the wrong message to people. According to a 2016 study, people who strike contractive positions, like hunching their shoulders or tucking their arms away, are considered less attractive to those who strike expansive poses, like putting their hands on their hips. The reason is that expansive poses make you feel more confident, which enhances your attraction and likability factor. Although there are other studies that say the power pose does nothing, it’s generally a good rule of thumb to keep an open body language when meeting people.

Mirror the person you’re speaking to.

It’s called  “mirroring” or the “chameleon effect,” and it’s a strategy that supports the psychological theory that says people tend to subtly mimic the behavior and actions of people they like. According to a 1999 study, people subconsciously start liking a person when their actions are being copied. Of course, if you try this hack, don’t to be too obvious about it.

Crack a joke and observe the people who are laughing around you.

If you want to quickly read the room and find out who’s crushing on whom, try out this little trick. When you’re with a group of people, crack a joke and watch everyone when they laugh. People tend to look at the person they like the most when they’re laughing, according t0 a 2009 study. “By using humor, one can gauge the strength of a potential or existing relationship without revealing his or her ultimate motives, which may extend beyond the establishment of a relationship,” the study concludes. We’re totally trying this.

When in a conversation, keep silent.

Although society has conditioned us to believe silence in a conversation is bad and that we must talk continuously until our tongues fall out of our faces, you can easily use this fact for your own purposes. If you truly want to learn more about someone, try keeping silent. The other person will continue talking in an attempt to fill the silence, giving you a front row seat to insight you wouldn’t have known if you were busy flapping your own lips. “Silence is a greatly underestimated source of power,” Peter Bregman writes in the Harvard Business Review. “In silence, we can hear not only what is being said, but also what is not being said. In silence, it can be easier to reach the truth.”

And just like that you’ve gone from “awkward party attendee” to “social Jedi master.” You’re welcome.

9 Famous Cheaters Who Later Got Cheated On

These celebrities famously cheated on their spouses…and then got cheated on later. Talk about karma.

I’m not sure if I believe in karma, but if it exists, these celebrities have definitely felt its wrath. Although famous cheaters are literally a dime a dozen in Hollywood, their infidelities still make them enemy No. 1 in the eyes of the public. No matter how many stars pine about how “the heart wants what it wants,” at the end of the day, their love stories left many emotional casualties behind, which is hard to ignore.

But not all cheaters get to ride happily into the sunset. Many famous adulterers find themselves on the opposite site of the equation when they later get cheated on. Ah, sweet, sweet karma. Below, a few celebrity cheaters who got their just desserts.

Kim Kardashian cheated on her first husband.

Before Kris Humphries and Kanye West, Kim was married to record producer Damon Thomas, but things obviously didn’t end well. Fifteen years later and he’s still harboring a grudge, running off to the tabloids last year to reveal that Kim cheated on him with “multiple guys” throughout their three-year marriage.

The guy she dated next, Ray J, who’s known for starring alongside her in the their infamous sex tape, later corroborated Damon’s story in a tell-all book. “[KK] let me know she wanted to get with me,” he wrote. “She left her husband for me as soon as we started having sex.”

Ray J then cheated on her.

In the same tell-all book, Ray J admitted that he cheated on Kim on her birthday, which he admitted was “sinking low.” Kim later confirmed on the story on Jimmy Kimmel Live, but she didn’t mention Ray J’s name.

“I got into the voicemail thing and it was on my birthday,” she revealed. “I was at dinner with all of my best friends [and] put it on speaker … wondering where my boyfriend was. His voicemail … he was flying in town to meet another girl on my birthday and lied to me that he was in another city.”

Damon probably cackled in revenge.

Britney Spears allegedly cheated on Justin Timberlake.

You all know the story. Back when they were teenybopper royalty, they had a messy split, with Justin not-so subtlety hinting that Britney cheated on him in his “Cry Me a River” video. Britney never confirmed or denied it, but most people accepted it as fact. Even in the Lifetime biopic, Britney Ever After, it was hinted that Britney cheated on Justin with dancer Wade Robson.

Twelve years later, she’s cheated on by David Lucado.

In 2014, Britney got refreshingly candid during a concert about her ex cheating on her. Her then-boyfriend, David, was caught on camera swapping spit with another woman mere days before the concert.

“Well, by now everyone knows my boyfriend cheated on me,” she said during her Las Vegas residency. “The best thing about your boyfriend cheating on you is that you get to go on another first date!”

One of those first dates was with Sam Asghari, and they’re still dating today.

Jude Law cheated on Sienna Miller with his nanny.

Back in 2006, Jude kicked off the whole “cheating with the nanny” trend during his much publicized affair with Daisy Wright. “That was a very pivotal time in my life, and I’m happy saying that,” Sienna told Vogue in 2009 after things blew over. “It’s a private moment when you get your heart broken for the first time.” Fortunately for her, she would get the last laugh.

Sienna then cheated on him with Daniel Craig.

Despite the infidelity, Jude and Sienna stayed together until 2011 (with many separations in between). During one of those many respites, Sienna had a brief fling with Daniel. They were outed by Daniel’s driver, who sold the story to News of the World. When Jude found out about it, he had his lawyers contact the paper and try to backdate the story so that it could appear like she cheated on him first. Needless to say, it didn’t work.

Rob Kardashian cheated on Adrienne Bailon.

Although it was one of Rob’s first public romances, it turned into one of the messiest when news got out that he had cheated on her. To make things more awkward, the whole thing played out for the world to see on Keeping Up With the Kardashians

“I think anyone who has been in a relationship where they’ve been cheated on or hurt, it affects you,” Adrienne later said on The Real. “It affected me so much that I made it a conscious decision not to do that to the next person, because when you experience the kind of hurt that being cheated on will make you question yourself. “

Rob was later cheated on by Blac Chyna.

Rob met his messier half when he hooked up with Blac Chyna. As if their many shouting matches on Rob & Chyna weren’t enough evidence that trouble was afoot, things really blew up when Rob discovered Blac was cheating on him with singer Pilot Jones. Sucks being the victim now, huh Rob?

Jennifer Lopez allegedly cheated on Cris Judd.

After the failure of her second marriage, J.Lo rebounded quickly, running around town with Ben Affleck before the ink on the divorce papers was dry. While angry fans nicknamed her “J.Ho,” Cris’ father ran to the National Enquirer to confirm that Jennifer had cheated on his son. However, to this day, Jennifer denies she cheated. “I wasn’t raised that way,” she told Wendy Williams back when the scandal first started. “I honor loyalty.” However, the sketchy timeline of her relationship does make you think.

Years later, she was cheated on by Casper Smart.

After the demise of Bennifer and her third marriage to Marc Anthony, Jennifer began dating another attractive backup dancer. But things didn’t end well when it was revealed that he had cheated on her numerous times. “She kicked him out because he cheated on her and he got caught,” a source told People. “It happened two years ago, and he promised he would never do it again and once he did, she was done.”

Today, she’s dating serial-cheater Alex Rodriguez. Surely nothing bad could possibly happen to that relationship.

Jessica Simpson allegedly cheated on Nick Lachey.

Although they were reality-TV royalty thanks to their hit MTV show, their relationship was full of cracks viewers didn’t see. After their split, there were rumors that Jessica cheated on Nick with her Dukes of Hazzard co-star Johnny Knoxville, and even Adam Levine. However, in 2006, Jackass‘ Bam Margera confirmed that he slept with Jessica in 2005, while Nick “was away.”

Eric Johnson allegedly cheated on her.

After a revolving door of musician boyfriends, from Billy Corgan to John Mayer, Jessica finally settled down with Eric in 2010. However, just two years later, reports alleged that he was cheating on her with his ex-wife. Considering they had just had their first child together, it’s easy to surmise that they decided to work things out. Today, they’re still together.

David Duchovny cheated on Téa Leoni numerous times.

Back in 2008, The X-Files star checked into rehab for sex addition after cheating on his wife a gazillion times. Téa must have the patience of a saint because she endured it for 11 years. Fortunately, she later got her revenge.

Téa cheated on David with Billy Bob Thornton.

After David’s bout in rehab, Téa decided to get close to her Manure co-star, Billy Bob Thornton. You would think David would be more forgiving due to the numerous times he cheated on her, but nope. After he found dirty texts on her phone, he demanded a separation.

Paris Hilton allegedly cheated on Nick Carter.

In 2006, Nick called into Ryan Seacrest’s radio show to drop a bombshell. He revealed that Paris, who he dated from 2003 to 2004, cheated on him with her House of Wax co-star, Chad Michael Murray. “Paris was the worst person in the world for me to hook up with,” he would later write in his memoir.

He then cheated on her with Ashlee Simpson.

As revenge, Nick decided to act on impulses he already had around the pop singer. “I’d fallen head over heels with [Ashlee],” he said in 2006. “Then, all of a sudden, three months go by and I got people telling me, ‘Nick, you know what Paris is doing to you,’ and I got a little upset. So then I just decided to fight back a little bit and started doing my own thing again.”

Tori Spelling cheated on her first husband.

Tori’s first husband, Charlie Shanian, was more than a little peeved when he discovered his wife was cheating on him with Dean McDermott via a tabloid he saw at a supermarket. “(Tori) was not happy when she was alone with me,” he revealed in 2007. “She’d only married me because I loved her and took care of her; she had purposefully shown me only 10 percent of her true personality; and, oh yeah, while in Canada, she’d cheated on me with her latest Lifetime-movie costar.”

Dean McDermott later cheated on her.

Despite their cheating ways, the couple happily remained together for years and even appeared in a reality TV show together. However, in 2013, a woman stepped forward and revealed that she was having an affair with Dean. “He told me he and Tori had a sexless marriage,” the woman, Emily Goodhand, told Us Weekly. “I believed him.”

Dean then confessed to the cheating on the couple’s reality show, True Tori. “I feel shame. I’ve never felt shame before,” he said of his transgressions. “You were at a Christmas event, and I was f––king around. That’s disgusting. That’s disgusting.”

Tori was crushed, but hey, it’s like what they say — what goes around comes around.
